Almond Date Balls

A healthy, energy boosting snack made by simple ingredients. No additives or gluten. 100% vegan recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Dates (preferably khalas dates)

  • Almonds or any desired nuts of your choice

  • Coating powder of choice: Coconut, cacao, carob

Instructions:

  • Remove the pits from dates and mash until flexible and soft. Best choice of dates is khalas dates.

  • Crush the almond or any desired nut with a blender, or mortar and pestle.

  • Mix the dates paste and crushed nuts together and form into bite-sized balls.

  • You can use an ice scream scoop to measure equally sized balls.

  • Coat the date balls with the desired powder.
