
Almond Date Balls

Ingredients:
Dates (preferably khalas dates)
Almonds or any desired nuts of your choice
Coating powder of choice: Coconut, cacao, carob
Instructions:
Remove the pits from dates and mash until flexible and soft. Best choice of dates is khalas dates.
Crush the almond or any desired nut with a blender, or mortar and pestle.
Mix the dates paste and crushed nuts together and form into bite-sized balls.
You can use an ice scream scoop to measure equally sized balls.
Coat the date balls with the desired powder.
